Harbor Kick Off Event
at Gig
Harbor Civic Center
April 29th - 5pm
This will be the public’s
first opportunity to view the 14 beautifully created artistic
salmon, each created by a regional artist and each unique and
exquisite. The Open House is an opportunity for the public
to view the salmon and meet and talk to the individual artists
who were chosen through a jury process for this event. The
SalmonChanted Harbor Open House will be held at the Gig Harbor
Civic Center, 3510 Grandview Street, Gig Harbor Washington
from 5-7pm on Friday April 29th. Coffee and cookies will be
served. Everyone is welcome.

“SalmonChanted Harbor Splash
Weekend”
May 7 - 8, 2005 • Historic Downtown Gig Harbor
All the salmon will be on display
for the First Saturday Artwalk in downtown Gig Harbor. A beautiful
new map
and brochure will be available to guide visitors around the
historic downtown to each of the 14 salmon. The salmon will
be on display until October 30th. On November 5th the salmon
will be auctioned at an event called “SalmonChanted Evening” with
the proceeds going to support “Hand on Art” programs
in the Peninsula School District and “Wild Watch!” a
local non-profit environmental awareness group. The auction
will be held at the INN at Gig Harbor. To purchase tickets
