Hosts Legislative Reception
The Gig Harbor Chamber of Commerce is hosting a
Legislative Reception on Friday January 8, 2009 with Washington
State Legislators from the 26th District.
Senator Derek Kilmer and Representatives Larry Seaquist and Jan
Angel
will attend.
The reception will begin at 5:00 p.m. and will
be held at Tacoma
Community College – Gig Harbor Campus
located at 3993 Hunt
Street NW,
Gig Harbor.
There will be an opportunity to chat with our legislators
during the meet and greet session, and each legislator will speak
briefly.
Our legislators are looking for feedback from
the business community so that they can communicate our needs to
the legislature more effectively.
The Gig Harbor Chamber of Commerce is committed to having a
strong voice with our government officials, advocating for
businesses and working to involve business people and the
community as a whole in the public policy process.
There is no cost to attend the reception, but
reservations are required.
